What To Expect

Our goal at Pelvic Link Physical Therapy is to help you achieve your goals as quickly as possible. All patients start with a comprehensive physical therapy examination, patients can then expect treatment sessions (this ranges in number and would be discussed at the initial evaluation), and finally, discharge when therapy is complete.

Initial Evaluation

Prior to your first visit, we will ask you to fill out paperwork that will help us prepare for your first visit. We ask that you complete it and send it back prior to your appointment.  On the day of your evaluation, we will bring all necessary equipment to you.

During your initial evaluation, we will first discuss your medical history, concerns, and goals. A comprehensive full-body musculoskeletal physical therapy evaluation with be performed. The examination will include an assessment of your spinal/joint mobility and range of motion, muscle function, posture, balance, and soft tissue mobility. Your therapist will clearly explain everything beforehand. You will know what to expect, and you can ask any questions you might have. If time allows, we will start with some treatment after the evaluation is complete. Your therapist will use the information from this evaluation to carefully develop a treatment plan aimed at reaching your goals.
